Advisor, Panel Growth & Ops
Full Time · US-based remote · WFH 4–5 days/week
Who we are
We create research-driven narratives that transform. Harnessing unparalleled creativity and uncompromising precision, we provide storytelling research, insights, and strategy for the most influential and ascendant companies in tech, entertainment, non-profit, and public policy. From messaging architectures to brand platforms, policy to product, our team of strategy, messaging, design, and research experts hone communications insights to craft stories that help our clients confidently tell their own. At the heart of our organization is our mission to be an indispensable strategic partner with diverse, innovative, and global capabilities.
We’re seeking a Advisor, Panel Growth & Ops to join us in continuously raising the bar to do just that.
The opportunity
As Advisor, Panel Growth & Ops, you are the engine behind the continuous growth, enrichment, and operational health of our proprietary research panel and expert network — a curated community of elite professionals across policy, advertising, education, finance, and other key verticals. Unlike project-based recruiting, your work is always-on: building the database independent of active studies so that when a project kicks off, the right people are already in our network, profiled, and ready to engage.
You will design and execute multi-channel growth campaigns, manage data enrichment pipelines, and ensure the integrity and freshness of our participant data. You will own and optimize our recruiting technology stack — from contact enrichment and email automation to LinkedIn outreach tools, list building platforms, and email validation services — maximizing reach, conversion, and data quality at every stage of the funnel.
Critically, you are an AI-native operator. You leverage AI coding assistants, automation frameworks, and generative AI tools not just to execute existing workflows but to build new ones. You develop custom scripts, automations, and lightweight applications that accelerate growth, streamline data operations, and give us capabilities that would otherwise require a dedicated engineering team. You think in systems, not just campaigns.
This role sits at the intersection of growth marketing, data operations, and applied AI. You are equal parts growth hacker, data steward, and builder.
What you'll do
- Own the always-on growth engine for our proprietary research panel, designing and executing multi-channel outreach campaigns across LinkedIn, email, referral programs, and emerging channels to continuously add qualified professionals to our network.
- Manage and optimize our recruiting technology stack — contact enrichment platforms, email automation and deliverability tools, LinkedIn outreach systems, list building services, and email validation pipelines — ensuring maximum efficiency across the full outreach funnel.
- Build and maintain data enrichment pipelines using waterfall enrichment strategies and multi-source data providers to deepen member profiles with professional data, behavioral signals, and engagement history.
- Develop custom automations, scripts, and lightweight tools using AI coding assistants (e.g., Claude, Cursor, Codex) to streamline growth workflows, automate repetitive data operations, and build internal capabilities that don’t exist off-the-shelf.
- Apply generative AI and LLM-powered tools to personalize outreach at scale, automate prospect research, generate dynamic messaging, and extract insights from campaign performance data.
- Maintain database integrity: manage data quality, deduplication, verification, profile freshness, and segmentation across all audience ecosystems.
- Design and run A/B tests on outreach messaging, subject lines, channel mix, and conversion flows; analyze results and continuously optimize for higher response and conversion rates.
- Develop and manage a formal referral program to drive member-to-member growth, including incentive structures, tracking, and reporting.
- Partner with Audience Leads to develop audience-specific growth strategies, prioritizing segments with the greatest gaps between current database health and project demand.
- Execute member onboarding campaigns: welcome sequences, profile completion flows, and early engagement touchpoints that drive activation within the first 30 days.
- Design and implement retention and re-engagement campaigns for dormant panel members, monitoring churn and proactively addressing disengagement.
- Track and report on database health metrics: total members, growth rate, active rate, profile completeness, churn, and channel performance. Build and maintain dashboards and provide regular updates to leadership.
- Support study-to-panel conversion by coordinating with Audience Leads to ensure qualified study participants are systematically invited and onboarded into our research panel.
- Manage incentive distribution for panel engagement activities using digital payment platforms, ensuring timely and accurate payment and meticulous tracking.
- Identify, evaluate, and integrate new tools, platforms, and AI capabilities into our operations — continuously evolving our tech stack to maintain a competitive edge.
- Contribute to the development and documentation of growth playbooks, outreach templates, and operational SOPs.
What you'll need
- B.A. in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
- 2–4+ years of experience in growth marketing, database marketing, demand generation, community management, or research operations — preferably in a B2B environment or within market research, panel management, or audience development.
- Hands-on experience with B2B outreach and enrichment platforms, including contact enrichment tools, email automation systems, LinkedIn outreach tools, and data validation services. Comfort learning and optimizing new tools quickly.
- Demonstrated proficiency with AI coding assistants and automation tools (e.g., Claude, Cursor, Codex, ChatGPT). Able to write and debug scripts (Python, JavaScript, or similar), build automations, and develop lightweight internal tools using AI-assisted development.
- Experience using generative AI and LLM-powered tools for content personalization, data analysis, workflow automation, or research applications.
- Strong understanding of email deliverability, sender reputation, domain management, and multi-channel outreach best practices.
- Experience with database platforms (CRM, research panel management software, or marketing automation tools) and a solid grasp of data hygiene, segmentation, and enrichment principles.
- Analytical mindset with experience tracking funnel metrics, conversion rates, and campaign performance; comfort building reports and dashboards in spreadsheets or BI tools.
- Demonstrated experience with A/B testing and conversion optimization in outreach or marketing contexts.
- Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong written communication skills — you will be crafting outreach messaging at scale that needs to resonate with senior professionals.
- Proactive, self-directed work style; comfortable operating independently and building solutions in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace tools and project management platforms (e.g., Asana, Notion, Airtable).
- Familiarity with qualitative or quantitative research processes is a significant plus.
- Ability to work outside of traditional business hours to support global outreach when needed.
